It's been said that New Jersey was the crossroads of the American Revolution: here many major battles and skirmishes were waged and here an ocean of patriot blood was shed. It seems these days that history has come full circle and once again New Jersey plays a critical role in the future of America as political contests waged in primaries throughout the state determine the direction we take - locally and nationally. Our nation is at another crossroads and we must decide whether to continue the failed policies of those who believe in bigger government and more regulation or return to the principles of personal liberty and economic freedom that made America the "last, best hope for mankind on earth."

Conservatives from around New Jersey’s Seventh District converged last night to attend a fundraiser at the Basking Ridge Country Club in honor of Congressional Candidate, David Larsen. Mr. Larsen is seeking the Republican nomination for U.S. Congress in New Jersey’s Seventh Congressional District.

Rich Nodine, Executive Director of the Conservative Party of New Jersey, recently notified the Larsen for Congress campaign that his organization has officially endorsed David Larsen in the upcoming June 5 Republican primary.

Earlier today in an exclusive interview with ABC News, President Barack Obama announced that he supports same-sex marriage - a striking reversal in light of his longstanding opposition.

In an interview with ABC News’ Robin Roberts, the president described his thought process as an “evolution” that led him to this place, based on conversations with his own staff members, openly gay and lesbian service members, and conversations with his wife and own daughters.

The Independence Hall Tea Party Political Action Committee - the only Tea Party PAC in the TriState DE-NJ-PA region that is registered with the federal government - announced its endorsements for the June 5 primary:

"With the Primary just four weeks away, we are proud to announce our endorsed candidates for the US House of Representatives from Central and South Jersey," said PAC President, Don Adams.

Three of the candidates are in competitive primary races.

"Our first endorsed candidate, Dave Larsen (NJ-7), is a conservative's conservative," Adams said. "The PAC unanimously voted to support Larsen's primary challenge to unseat Republican incumbent Leonard Lance because Congressman Lance is not a conviction conservative--he's a moderate who votes conservative when it's politically expedient to do so."

"Larsen, a natural conservative, will be a reliable vote in Congress."

The Independence Hall Tea Party Association, the sister organization of the Independence Hall Tea Party PAC, was formed in May, 2009 after two successful Tea Parties held at Independence Mall, Philadelphia--one in February and one in April of that year.

The Association is the largest Tea Party group in the tri-state region with thousands of members and supporters.

The Republican National Coalition for Life recently endorsed Movement Conservative David Larsen in his bid for the GOP nomination in the primary race for the 7th congressional district. According to an e-mail the Larsen campaigh received from Executive Director Dianne Edmondson,

In the wake of Bayshore Tea Party Group's recent endorsement, other Tea Party groups are declaring their support for David Larsen in his bid to unseat incumbent Leonard Lance in the 7th Congressional District primary race. Yesterday, the West Jersey Tea Party announced that it will endorse David Larsen.

Today the Bernardsville News reported that the Greater Basking Ridge Tea Party voted in favor of endorsing Movement Conservative David Larsen over incumbent Leonard Lance in the June 5th GOP primary.

It's one thing to have a politician lie to your face about his core beliefs and especially about his voting record - but it's another thing entirely when you are helping to pay for those lies. And that's pretty much what is happening in the 7th District, where incumbent Rep. Leonard Lance continues to bombard the voters with campaign flyers (mailed out at taxpayer expense) that blatantly misrepresent his record in Congress and depict him as a "principled conservative."

How does he do this? Easy: he cherry-picks the votes he cast on crucial issues such as Obamacare and the federal budget that make him look like a "principled conservative" while ignoring the votes he cast that clearly identify him as anything but a principled conservative.

Yesterday the Bayshore Tea Party Group - one of New Jersey's largest Tea Party organizations - announced via email that it officially endorses David Larsen in the 7th Congressional District primary race.
